A LAWA está orgulhosamente focada em apoiar mulheres e crianças latinas e negras e de outros grupos minoritários a recuperarem de cenários abusivos e viverem vidas empoderadas.
A LAWA proporciona todos os recursos para que as vítimas superem experiências traumáticas tenham uma nova oportunidade de brilhar. Desde refúgio de emergência (os únicos refúgios na Europa e no Reino Unido por e para mulheres e crianças latino-americanas que fogem da violência) , serviços de proteção de violência contra mulheres e crianças: habitação, legalização, suporte para crianças, centro de aconselhamento e projetos de envolvimento comunitário: integração, Aulas de inglês e programas de empoderamento.
O seu programa é cuidadosamente planeado por e para que mulheres de qualquer contexto cultural, etnia, classe social, religião e sexualidade se sintam bem-vindas e amadas novamente.
