ABOUT LAWA
LAWA is proudly committed to support latin and other black and minoritized women and children to recover from abuse and live empowered lives.
LAWA provides everything to the victims overcome traumatic experiences and have a new opportunity to shine. From emergency refuge homes (the only refuges in Europe and UK by and for Latin American women and children fleeing gender-based violence), violence against Women and Girls services: housing, children, advice center and community engagement projects: integration, English classes and empowerment programs.
Their program is carefully planed by and for women from any cultural context, ethnicity, social class, religion, and sexuality to feel welcome and loved again.
